At its core is a 66.8MP full-frame fully stacked CMOS sensor, delivering highly detailed photographs with excellent resolution and dynamic range. Combined with the BIONZ XR2 image processor, the camera is built to handle demanding high-speed shooting and advanced image-processing tasks.
For action and wildlife photography, the A7R VI offers continuous shooting of up to 30 fps, allowing photographers to capture critical moments with precision. Its intelligent AI-based autofocus system provides advanced subject recognition and tracking to help maintain focus on moving subjects.
Video creators can take advantage of 8K 30p recording, as well as 4K 120p 10-bit video, making the camera suitable for professional video production, cinematic content, commercial work and high-resolution hybrid shooting.
Built-in image stabilisation provides up to 8.5 stops of stabilisation, helping reduce camera shake when shooting handheld. The flexible 3.2-inch 4-axis vari-angle touchscreen also makes it easier to compose from high, low and unconventional shooting positions.
