It has blocks stray light for cleaner Images which effectively reduces lens flare from backlight, sidelight, and overhead light – essential for bright outdoor street photography, travel, and backlit portraits.
Choose the lightweight hood alone for flare control and impact protection, or the full kit that adds a UV filter to guard the front element while maintaining 99% light transmission and true‑to‑life colors. Internal matte black finish (anodized on filter, painted on hood) absorbs reflections. Precision CNC machining ensures no dark corners across the frame.
