The SmallRig L-Shape Grip is a well-designed, functional upgrade that significantly improves the handling and versatility of the Fujifilm X-E5.
The integrated, anti-slip silicone handle provides a more secure and comfortable grip, especially when shooting one-handed or using longer lenses, reducing fatigue during long sessions. The grip is designed to match the X-E5's color scheme and texture for a unified aesthetic that looks like a natural extension of the camera body.
The base plate features an integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate, allowing for swift mounting and unmounting on compatible tripods and accessories without needing an extra plate. The design ensures full access to all camera ports and controls, including the battery compartment, memory card slot, USB ports, and speakers, so the grip doesn't need to be removed for essential functions.
Constructed from a durable, lightweight aluminum alloy base and weighing only 64g, it adds stability without compromising the camera's portability.
A magnetically held tool is integrated into the base plate for easy and convenient installation and removal. An included concave button can be screwed into the camera's shutter release to enhance tactile feedback and shooting experience.
In addition to the Arca-Swiss plate, there are two 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the bottom for attaching other plates or accessories like a wrist strap or a camera clip. Integrated silicone pads on the contact surfaces help protect the camera body from scratches.
